Retro Doges is a captivating collection of 6,969 unique PFPs (Profile Picture Tokens) on the Ethereum blockchain. This project is spearheaded by the dynamic duo of FeistyDao and Cryptopathic. With a nostalgic nod to the 80s and early 90s, Retro Doges captures the essence of the era while infusing it with the modern charm of the blockchain.

Origin Story: The inception of Retro Doges can be traced back to May 2022. It was during a brainstorming session at FeistyDao, under the guidance of CryptoPathic, that the idea of Retro Doges was born.

The team envisioned an NFT collection that would not only be visually appealing but also foster community engagement. The iconic Kabosu NFT, known as Feisty Doge, served as the muse for this project. Lil’ Dojo, a resident artist at FeistyDAO, reimagined Feisty Doge, keeping three core principles at heart:

1. Cuteness: An undeniable charm that resonates with all.
2. Time Distortion: A blend of past aesthetics with future possibilities.
3. Utility: Ensuring that each token holds tangible value beyond its visual appeal.
